In the movie screenings of Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse fake previews were played for other Grindhouse films that some famous directors had toyed around with. One of those films, Machete, has already been turned into a real film and now it looks like a second one is being turned into reality.

Eli Roth directed and starred in the trailer for Thanksgiving (he’s the one that has something happen to his ‘head’) and has recently revealed that this silly trailer is going to be his next project. He is currently doing a media tour for his latest film, The Last Exorcism, but as soon as he is back from that he plans on finishing the script for Thanksgiving. I’ve never been impressed with anything that Eli Roth has done, with the exception of his portrayal as The Bear Jew in Inglorious Basterds, but this one might be fun. It needs to be something closer to Pirahna 3D than anything else that Roth has been involved in. I hope they get this one right. I could use some desert better then Pumpkin Pie for my favorite holiday next year!
艾利·鲁斯执导了这部THANKSGIVING的预告片并且在里面扮演了一个角色（他出现在不停的掉脑袋那段）。 而且最近在他的一个电影宣传- Last Exorcism的媒体见面会上，他表示这部恶趣味十足的预告片将纳入他的下一步电影的计划。
我以前一直觉得艾利鲁斯这个人做的东西不怎么样，除了在昆丁电影无良杂种中客串的BEAR JEW让人眼前一亮外，其他都乏善可陈，无论是作为导演还是演员。 但是目前看来这部THANKSGIVING却会是一个相当有趣的尝试。 我希望这部片子能拍成食人鱼3D那样的类型就行了。 最后希望明年的感恩节能够看到这部片子！！！ 这篇影评有剧透
