Thetwohavegrownapartovertheyears,yetbothcarryaheavyburdenofguiltrelatedtotheparteachplayedinthedeathoftheirfather.Sinan,nowarisingyounglieutenant,hasbeensummonedtohandoverKenantoamilitarycourtforatrialthatwilllikelyleadtoaverylongprisonsentenceforhisactionsagainststateinterests.Navigatingalongjourneythroughadividedlandandanever-shiftinglandscape,thebrothersareunawarethatastormisunderway.SetonJuly15,2016whenafactionwithintheTurkishArmedForcesattemptedacoupagainstthedemocraticallyelectedgovernment,citingtheerosionofsecularism,eliminationofdemocraticrule,anddisregardforhumanrights,themen’sfateswillsoonbeinthehandsofhistory.
